Hey there, everyone. Remember me? I used to write things and then I vanished off the face of the Earth.

Yeah, me. Hi!

I don’t really have a good answer for why I’ve been gone, other than I left real life get in the way and never managed to make time for the blog again. In my attempt to get back into the saddle of anything remotely looking like a professional writing life again, I’m buckling down on my writing again, and my reading again–which means book reviews! My hope is that I can start back up slowly with my weekly book reviews again, and then get back into the swing of the other things I was doing.

I appreciate anyone who’s still around and reading. Y’all are the best.

I’ve got a review for you this Wednesday, and in classic Rion fashion, it’s me ripping something to shreds and tossing them at fires. (It’s so uncommon for me to dislike a book this much, so when I do, I’ve gotta go at it with gusto.)

In any event, here’s hoping we’ll all see each other more often, yeah?
